Since 1996, I have been organizing cultural tours to Central Asia, along the Great Silk Road. As my native country, Turkey represents to me far more than just a beach vacationer's paradise. In addition to its stunning coastline and wonderful vistas, Turkey contains other treasures, many of which are often glossed over by larger tour companies. New Horizons International seeks to counter the influences of mass-tourism. I am proud to offer tours that are off the beaten path, educational, and customized for our participants' interests. 

Each of my tours explore folk art, architecture, ceramics, textiles and more through a personalized, noncommercial approach. What's more, we seek out authenticity - the sounds, sights and people that reflect the vibrant culture and provide insight into the rich history of the countries we visit.
